Dean R. Hoge, Ph.D., Professor of Sociology at Catholic University of America, joined us at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Morristown to discuss options facing the American Roman Catholic Church as it faces a priest shortage and the need to import priests from Latin America, Asia, and Africa to meet the need.  In his newest work, International Priest in America: Current Challenges and Opportunities, Dr. Hoge with co-author, Aniedi Okure, studied the perspectives of parishioners, lay ministers, diocesan leaders, and priests as they relate to ministry in the Church of the future.
